Why does lotus notes profile move not work on 8?

I just get errors...You are not authorized to access that database. So I usually uninstall and reinstall..hate notes hate notes hate notes, Does anybody have recomendation for 8.5? here is the scenario: User leaves, so I need to give new user that PC. I do not want to reimage pc or unistall notes. Can I just take the new user id file and create a "Virgin" notes profile for new user?

  1. Three easy ways to set up a new user on an existing Notes client installation: Option 1. If your user has an existing Roaming Profile on the server, simply copy the user's ID file to the Notes data directory. Launch Lotus Notes and select the new ID from the user name drop down list. Once you log in, you will be prompted to pull the profile from the server. Option 2. Log into Lotus Notes with the new or old ID. Open the Local address book and click on Advanced in the left navigator. Click on Locations in the left Navigator. Make a copy of the Location document the previous user was using... the default is "Office," so check that one first. Open the copy in edit mode and update the following fields: Basics Tab: Location Name (anything meaningful such as user's first name) & Internet mail address Mail Tab: Mail file (Important - if the Mail file location is Local, you may want to change that to "On server" until you finish creating the local replica) Advanced Tab: User ID to switch to (Use the flashlight button to browse) Save and close the new Location document. You should consider cleaning up the remaining location docs that are not in use. Restart Notes and instead of selecting the user name, select the applicable "Location" below the password field. Once you understand how the Location document is used, you'll see how it is possible to have an unlimited number of users simultaniously configured on the same PC. Option 3: Open the Notes.ini file in notepad and delete everything below $$HasLANPort. Delete names.nsf, cache.dsk, desktop.dsk and bookmark.nsf. When you start Notes, you'll be prompted to setup Notes as if it were a new install. You may want to make backup copies of these files before deleting them.
