What is the best note taking software for mac OS X?

I need some nice software for organizing my class notes. please help!

1. You should try out Voodoopad. it is a great program that will let will not slow you down. its got tabbed wiki-style notes to make each class one big file. its always fast and you can record audio and much more! it also has a great feature that will auto save everything, so if you are running out of class fast, you do not have to worry about losing your precious notes. =DD i hope this helps, try it out! =D and if you need a fully functional MS-word type program, openoffice.org. Does EVERYTHING that ms-word does, except its for frizzle. =D i use both
